Last night I ventured into Manhattan to meet Lonnie at Sammy's Noodle House. That's my favorite Chinese restaurant in New York. Sammy's, at 11th Street and Sixth Avenue is a wonderful blend of authentic Chinatown style Chinese food blended with a bit of "uptown" taste. It works and it's always great.
Meeting Lonnie and me were the two visitors from out of town: Emily and Stephanie (read yesterday's Blog). Lonnie drove us home to Brooklyn afterwards. He was on an errand, delivering sundries to his daughter's new apartment in Park Slope.
