Tempus fugit ... et nos fugimus in illus.

Time Flies ... and we fly with it.

We've kept our friendship with Mike's ex, Cindy. Because we like her. So when she came to New York from Nashville last week we planned to see her -- and we did. She came in with her friend Martha and they stayed at Martha's brother's apartment on the Lower East Side. Two young women from Tennessee on the Lower East Side. Cindy has been to New York many times over the years and she loves it. She also likes the "guided tour" we dispense each time we see her. I think we could become NYC tour guides by this time. We get a kick out of showing off our city and taking out-of-towners around town.

We picked the girls up at their apartment on Stanton Street and drove over to Battery Park City and Steamer's Landing for a beautiful sunset dinner on the Hudson.

We've been to Steamer's Landing many times and have never been disappointed. It's a little pricey, but the view, the ambience and yes, the food, is excellent. A great New York restaurant and a great place to show off New York.

Cindy and me. And no Bush.
